The optional COTAK Fundamentals workshop is included with your registration and designed for new and developing users. Space is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Experienced users may opt to skip this session and join the full Summit on July 8.
Attendees will split into two dedicated sessions based on their device platform:
COTAK for iOS — A guided walkthrough of the COTAK experience on Apple devices, covering login, configuration, navigation, and key field tools
COTAK for Android — A hands-on session covering the Android Team Awareness Kit interface, configuration, and operational features specific to Android users
Both sessions include:
Master the Basics: Hands-on experience logging in and configuring your COTAK account
Navigate the App: Learn to download and move through your specific TAK application with ease
Practical Application: Guided exercises focused on the essential tools and features used in the field
Day one focuses on building a strong operational foundation while showcasing how agencies are actively using COTAK in the field.
